Though it is freezing outside, the hens have found a way to keep warm. They all have decided to crowd around the heated waterer (a luxury they got at Christmas) and pile up on top of each other. Seems uncomfortable, but they like it!

Two of my hens (I call them Phoenix and Patch) have taken a liking to eating snow. After they swallow it, they walk around as if they had snow down their backs. In a few moments, they stop and eat more snow. Oh well, if that's what they like to do I won't stop them.
